Behavioural issues / Dog Training

Does your dog have issues?

Please don't be embarrassed to admit that your dog is not as well behaved as it should be! You will not be able to home board a dog with issues. No-one will accept your dog into their own home if that dog is going to hurt them or their family, or damage their property!

The only option normally is to kennel the dogs, but this can mean that they are not walked if they are aggressive, as it is too dangerous for the kennel staff to risk the confrontation and they are too busy to take the time or lack the knowledge to sort out any issues they find!

I can help! I have over 25 years experience dealing with and training dogs and have experience in protection / working dog training, involving powerful breeds trained to bite. I am confident in dealing with all dogs and their issues, as long as their is no medical or psychological illness involved, then the dogs issues can be addressed. I have looked after over 40 dogs in the last year and a half and use my methods on a daily basis!

What are issues? -

Issues are:

  • Anxiety
  • Obsession
  • Aggressive behaviour towards dogs
  • Aggressive behaviour towards people
  • Food aggression
  • Dominance
  • Running away

Any behaviour which you cannot deal with and makes you scared or nervous about your dog! Does he run up to other dogs and attack them, does he nip or bite you when you correct him?

Our standards -

The following standard is what we would expect from any dog and whilst in our care your dog will also be expected to:

  • Respect the handler at all times
  • Be calm and quiet when on its own
  • Walk calmly at the side of the handler
  • Recall when called
  • Not be aggressive to other dogs or people
  • Not be aggressive at feeding time
