Our service to you!

In order to keep things as simple as possible, all the information about our service is contained in the questions below. If you are unsure about anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact us by phone or email or text at anytime!

Where will my dog be kept?
Your dog will be looked after in our own homes which are hand picked to be calm, happy, clean and safe for your dogs! All have secure good sized gardens to ensure that your dog can go outside. Your dog will be part of the family and sleeping arrangements can be discussed with your boarder, but will be in the house and warm and safe!

How many dogs do you care for at one time?
All of Lookafteryourdogs boarders are licensed by Council Environmental Health Officers for the care of one families dogs to a maximum of two dogs. Your dogs will be exclusively staying at the boarders house and unless agreed by you, will not be sharing the house with anyone else's dogs. Some boarders have a dog of their own and you will be asked what your dog is like around other dogs and if you are happy to board your dog with theirs. You can decided on how this will go at the visit stage, or request a household without dogs!

Where will my dog sleep?
Sleeping arrangements will vary according to your dog and your wishes, but usually a bed/basket/cage in the study or kitchen allows for a safe and peaceful nights sleep for all!

Will my dog get walked?
Your dog will be walked twice a day as a minimum and will be allowed to play out in the garden during the day for a bit of free time relaxation. Fenced and safely enclosed your dog can play with the activity toys provided or any chews that you want him / her to have throughout their stay with us!

What are the feeding arrangements?
We prefer to feed twice a day but will always be prepared to accommodate your wishes and feed accordingly. Food will be provided by yourselves to provide continuity and fed to your instructions.

My dog has behavioural issues, can you still help?
If your dog is a problem child, then please ring and speak and we will be able to advise you about what we can do to help you out! Your dog's issues can be addressed whilst you are on holiday but would obviously not be in our home environment, Training can be provided as opposed to boarding and as long as your dog is not suffering from a psychological or medical condition, behavioural problems can usually be addressed successfully. Prior to and after training please read and follow my method pages to create the right environment for you and your dog!

What if my dog is ill or injured?
You will provide us with details of your vet when your dog comes to stay and any problems or issues can be dealt with by him or her according to your wishes! Obviously we will reserve the right to do whatever is necessary to give your dog the best care and attention in the unlikely event of a medical emergency.

Will my dog stay with you?
We cannot look after every dog that we are asked to care for and so we will offer you the option of placing your dog with one of our other home boarders. All conform to the same standards as ourselves and have Insurance and are registered with the the local Council and comply with NARPSUK standards.
